Chelsea and Betis fans clash in Wroclaw before Conference League final

Chelsea and Real Betis fans clashed in Wroclaw ahead of their Conference League final on Wednesday.

On Tuesday evening, a series of clashes between Chelsea and Betis fans took place in the Old Town area of the city.

Rival fans fought running battles in the streets and threw chairs, bottles and other objects at each other, with police trying to disperse them.


The two sets of fans also clashed at Wroclaw’s Market Square on Wednesday afternoon, around five hours before kick-off.

Riot police were forced to intervene to restore order.

There were 28 arrests made.
