Napoli and Sporting Lisbon fans clashed in the streets of Naples on Wednesday evening, just hours before their Champions League fixture.
Groups of rival fans were seen fighting near bars, with chairs and other objects thrown.
Several cars and shopfronts were damaged before the groups dispersed.
One Sporting fan was taken to hospital with injuries, while at least three Napoli fans were arrested in connection with the incident.
