A Bulgarian league match between Lokomotiv Plovdiv and CSKA Sofia at the Lokomotiv Stadium was halted for 20 minutes on Sunday after a massive brawl broke out between rival fans.
Four minutes before half-time, Lokomotiv hooligans invaded the running track surrounding the pitch and moved towards the CSKA end. Dozens of CSKA hooligans then rushed onto the track, sparking a fight between the rival groups.
Several members of Spartak Moscow’s hooligan firm, known as Banda Tuka (“Tuk’s Gang”), were also reportedly fighting alongside Lokomotiv Plovdiv hooligans.
Order was restored only after police intervened.
According to local media reports, 11 people were arrested, including two from Russia.
