A group of Zwolle fans attacked Heracles Almelo counterparts at a bar in the town of Nijverdal on Sunday.
The attack came hours before the teams’ Dutch top-flight match at the Asito Stadium in Almelo, around 8 miles from Nijverdal.
Windows were smashed, furniture destroyed, and flares thrown. No injuries were reported, and no arrests had been made at the time of reporting.
Zwolle fans had been banned from attending the match due to previous violations.
