Friday’s Dutch second-tier meeting between Cambuur and ADO Den Haag was halted after disorder broke out in the stands.
The unrest began shortly after Cambuur secured a 2–0 lead in the 88th minute, when pyrotechnics were thrown from the away end towards a stand packed with home supporters. The referee suspended the match amid safety concerns.
Fans from both sides became involved, throwing objects over a fence, and several ADO fans climbed out of their section to confront Cambuur fans.
After discussions and once the away end had been cleared of fans, the match resumed around 50 minutes later.
