Dynamo Dresden and Hertha fans clash during match

Dynamo Dresden and Hertha fans clashed during Saturday’s 2. Bundesliga fixture at the Rudolf Harbig Stadium.

Trouble kicked off in the 19th minute as a number of Hertha fans jumped out of the away end and clashed with home supporters in a nearby section. A group of Dynamo Dresden ultras then ran across the pitch towards the Hertha end, escalating the situation.

Flares and other objects were thrown between the two sides, forcing the referee to halt the match and send both teams back to the dressing rooms.

Police moved in to disperse the groups, with the match delayed for around 20 minutes before restarting.
