Slovan Bratislava fans clashed with riot police at Rome’s Olympic Stadium during Tuesday’s Champions League match against Roma.
Trouble began around the 50th minute, when visiting fans allegedly kicked the glass barrier separating the away and home sections and threw objects towards home supporters. As riot police entered the away end to restore order, some Slovan fans confronted the cops and seized several shields and batons. Wisla Krakow fans were also seen taking part in the violence.
The confrontation reportedly lasted about 10 minutes. At least one cop was injured, and two visiting fans, one Slovak and one Pole, were arrested.
