Trouble broke out among rival fans during the Chilean Super Cup clash between Universidad Catolica and Colo-Colo on Sunday.
The match, played at the Ester Roa Rebolledo Stadium in Concepcion, was stopped in the first half after disorder erupted in the stands, with flares and various objects thrown between rival sections. The referee suspended play and sent both teams to the dressing rooms while security staff dealt with the situation.
After a delay of around half an hour, order was restored and the match continued without further incidents inside the ground.
Colo-Colo went on to win the game 2–0 and lift the trophy.
