Fans clash with riot police before Greek Cup final

Fans of Panathinaikos and PAOK clashed with riot cops inside Athens’ Olympic Stadium before Saturday’s Greek Cup final.

The violence erupted an hour before kick-off when fans from both sides tried to enter the area of empty seats separating them, and riot police used batons and tear gas to stop the fans.

As a result, the start of the match was delayed for about 30 minutes.
