Six Lazio fans were attacked by Cagliari hooligans ahead of their Serie A clash at the Sardegna Arena on Monday.
The incident took place on Via Milano at around 4pm local time.
A group of about 15 Cagliari hooligans, armed with belts, assaulted the away fans as they were reportedly making their way to a hotel. The attack lasted less than a minute.
Several Lazio fans were injured but declined hospital treatment.
