Fans of Hungary’s Pecsi MFC and Croatia’s Cibalia clashed on the pitch during a friendly match in the southern Hungarian city of Pecs on Saturday.
In the first half of the match, fans from both sides invaded the pitch and started fighting with each other, forcing the game to be halted.
Some of the away fans were armed with metal rods and planks of wood torn from a fence.
44 people were arrested, 41 of them Cibalia fans.
