Trouble flared during an Argentinian cup tie between Godoy Cruz and San Martin San Juan on Monday as both sets of fans threw seats at each other and clashed with riot police.
Play was halted in the 24th minute as Godoy Cruz and San Martin fans began hurling broken seats at each other in the stands.
When riot police stepped in to quell the trouble some fans from both sides turned on them.
Eventually, order was restored, and the match continued.
