Fans of Brusque and Avai fought on the pitch at half-time of their regional league match in the southern Brazilian city of Joinville on Wednesday.
Shortly after the half-time whistle blew at the Arena Joinville, a group of Brusque fans invaded the pitch and ran towards a section containing Avai fans.
A number of Avai fans also entered the pitch and a fight broke out.
Riot police used rubber bullets to break up the fight.
A Brusque fan was injured and four persons were arrested as a result of the fight.
