On this day in 2005, Zenit St. Petersburg and Spartak Moscow hooligans clashed in a pre-arranged fight ahead of a Russian Premier League match between the two sides.
The fight took place in a car park near St. Petersburg’s Ice Palace, with around 200 men on each side taking part.
It was an intense battle, with the Spartak lads getting the better of their Zenit rivals.
Without a doubt, it remains one of the greatest and most memorable fights in hooligan history.
