Angry Zamalek fans riot after draw with Al Ahli Tripoli

Angry Zamalek fans caused a riot at the Borg el-Arab Stadium on Sunday night after their team went out of the African Champions League.

Zamalek were knocked out of the tournament after a 2-2 draw with Al Ahly Tripoli of Libya that left them third in Group B.

Home fans reacted by throwing flares, seats and various other objects onto the pitch after the final whistle.

According to local media, 20 Zamalek fans were arrested for their participation in the riot.
