Catania fans caused trouble during the first leg of their Serie C Italian Cup final against Padova at the Euganeo stadium on Tuesday.

With their team trailing 2-0 at half-time, a large group of Catania fans forced their way into the area between the stands and the pitch and stormed towards the Padova end.

Flares and other objects were thrown into the Padova fans end and a Padova banner was ripped down.
