Fans of Independiente Medellin and Atletico Nacional clashed inside the Atanasio Girardot Stadium following their Colombian Cup final on Wednesday.
The violence broke out after Nacional’s 1–0 victory over local rivals Medellin in the second leg of the final.
Fans from both sides invaded the pitch and its surrounds after the final whistle, triggering chaotic fights.
Riot police intervened to separate the fans and restore order.
The incident left 59 people injured.
