Rival fans clashed on the pitch before a Romanian league match between Dinamo Bucharest and UTA Arad at the Triumphal Arch Stadium on Friday.
About ten minutes before kick-off, Dinamo fans began to throw flares onto the pitch and towards the stand that housed travelling UTA Arad fans.
There were also Steaua Bucharest fans among the away fans.
Fans from both sides then ran on to the pitch and began throwing punches at each other.
Police had to intervene to break up the fight.
