Schalke and Eintracht Frankfurt hooligans clashed at the Arena AufSchalke after the full-time whistle of their DFB Pokal match on Wednesday.
Rival groups traded punches and kicks in the stands, with the fight lasting around a minute before riot police moved in.
Trouble also flared outside the ground as opposing fans became involved in further confrontations.
