Viktoria Plzen and Sparta Prague fans clash on pitch after cup final

Fans of Viktoria Plzen and Sparta Prague clashed on the pitch at the end of the Czech Cup final on Wednesday.

The match took place at Viktoria Plzen’s ground and finished 2-1 in favour of Sparta.

After the final whistle, dozens of fans from both sides made their way onto the pitch and began brawling.

Riot police had to intervene to separate the two sets fans.

Plastic chairs and cups were then thrown at police lined up in front of the Sparta Prague end.

A few chairs were also thrown at presenters covering the match for Czech Television.
