Santa Fe and America de Cali fans clashed during Sunday’s Colombian top-flight match at the El Campin Stadium in Bogota.
Trouble reportedly began in the stands in the 33rd minute after America fans attempted to take a flag from Santa Fe fans, sparking a fight between the two sets of fans.
The violence quickly escalated, with fans from both sides invading the pitch and attacking each other with sticks and other objects. Riot police intervened with stun grenades to restore order as players were forced to retreat to the dressing rooms.
The match was suspended for almost an hour before eventually restarting, with the game finishing 0-0.
